4013 Materials & Supplies List
When I began this dress I had very small amounts of fabric, so this is the minimum you need to squeak this by. If you are afraid of mistakes possibly get a little more. But you can do it.
5” x 7” - silk taffeta for dress
6” x 10” - silk organdy for ruffles (Or 30” of ruffled trim for the skirt)
6” decorative braid for waist trim
12” – 24” - silk ribbon in 5 colors. (I used 2mm and 4mm silk ribbons.) These make the tie belt and the corsage.
12” – 30 gauge wire
A whole lot of tiny beads (enough to thread 6” of wire)
A “peacock” feather or similar that you like- about 2 ½” long to start.
