Doreen Sinnet made the porcelain so the dress had to be good. Kathi loved the hat and made the dress from a simple description and a line drawing from 1896. Very pretty in person.

Supplies 5002

Batiste for pantalets and slip

10” – ¼”lace

6” – 1 ¼” lace

Small piece of cream silk for blouse

About 4” – 1 ½” lace for vest

Small piece of velvet for collar and cuffs

¼ yard fabric for vest, skirt and hat

(There will be quite a bit of excess, but the hat takes up a length of bias that makes the amount necessary)

No-hole beads to match or contrast for sleeve buttons

 

2 yards braid for skirt and vest trimming

Silk ribbon for hat

Feathers for hat

Card stock

Small piece of iron on interfacing, lt to med, soft

Thin leather for belt, use pattern or braid

Belt buckle, gold square

Thread to match fashion fabric

Quarter inch scale pleater board
